A multi-vehicle crash caused big problems on Route 283 in Lancaster County this morning.What we knowRoute 283 was shut down in both directions at Route 722/State Road in East Hempfield Township. However, around 7:20 a.m., the road reopened.The crash happened in the westbound lanes. A multi-vehicle crash caused big problems on Route 283 in Lancaster County this morning.
What we know
- Route 283 was shut down in both directions at Route 722/State Road in East Hempfield Township. However, around 7:20 a.m., the road reopened.
- The crash happened in the westbound lanes.
- It’s not yet clear what caused the crash, but the jersey barrier in the median of the road appeared to be damaged.
