Slovenian bourse indices advance in lower turnover


April 26 (SeeNews) – Each of the two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) gained 0.36% on Wednesday, as total trading turnover decreased, bourse data showed.

The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,237.13 points, while the SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, closed at 1,564.08 points on Thursday, LJSE data showed.

Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] gained the most among the blue chips – 2.13%, and closed at 28.80 euro.

Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] paced the blue-chip decliners, with shares going down 1.83% to 53.50 euro.

Lender Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE:NLBR] booked the largest single turnover – of 648,110 euro ($715,371). Its shares closed flat at 72.0 euro.

Total daily regulated market turnover rose to 1.2 million euro on Wednesday from 2.1 million euro on Tuesday.
