EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — The East Providence Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing elderly man is asking for the public’s help to find him.
Officials say 86-year-old Robert Davis was last seen at Miriam Hospital at 9 p.m. Friday.
Just after 11:30 p.m., a FLOCK camera came back with a location on a vehicle the man may have been in, around the area of Service Road 1 and Carpenter Street in Providence.
Davis is described as a Black man, 5′ 10″ tall, weighing 160 lbs. He has grey/white hair, with blue/grey eyes.
He was last seen wearing a long sleeve green shirt, dark pants, and a baseball cap.
The vehicle is described as a red 2015 Hyundai Sonata, with Rhode Island registration 1EK201.
Officials say that he does not drive often and will most likely be unfamiliar with area he was last seen in.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the East Providence Police Department at 435-7600.
