Patriot Battery Metals Announces Exciting Exploration Target at Shaakichiuwaanaan Project

Patriot Battery Metals Inc. is thrilled to unveil a maiden Exploration Target for its Shaakichiuwaanaan Property, formerly known as Corvette, located in Quebec, Canada. The Property, which is accessible year-round and near major powerline infrastructure, has the potential to host significant additional Mineral Resources of lithium pegmatite.

The Exploration Target, completed in accordance with industry standards, highlights the scale of untapped potential at the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project. The Project boasts eight distinct lithium pegmatite clusters along the CV Lithium Trend, with only three having undergone meaningful drill testing. These three clusters, CV5, CV13, and CV9, remain open at depth and along strike, indicating the potential for further lithium pegmatite Mineral Resources.

Ken Brinsden, President, CEO, and Managing Director of Patriot Battery Metals, expressed confidence in the Exploration Target, stating that it provides clear guidance to the market regarding the untapped potential at the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project. While confirming the need for extensive drilling to confirm mineralized pegmatite presence, Brinsden emphasized the remarkable potential for further significant discoveries at the Project.

The Shaakichiuwaanaan Project has already established itself as the largest lithium pegmatite Mineral Resource Estimate in the Americas and the 8th largest globally. With the addition of this Exploration Target, which does not include the Mineral Resources already defined, the Project further solidifies its position as a globally significant district-scale lithium pegmatite potential.

To validate the Exploration Target, Patriot Battery Metals plans to conduct systematic diamond drilling of the known spodumene pegmatite clusters and corridors at the Project. The exploration programs are set to commence in 2025 and extend over several years.

The determination of the Exploration Target was completed by BBA Engineering Ltd., an independent consultant, using a comprehensive dataset and 3D modeling. The estimated tonnage and lithium grade were rounded to the nearest million tonnes and the nearest 0.1% Li2O, respectively.

Patriot Battery Metals is a hard-rock lithium exploration company focused on advancing the Shaakichiuwaanaan Property. The Property’s existing Mineral Resource, which includes the CV5 and CV13 spodumene pegmatites, ranks as the largest lithium pegmatite resource in the Americas and the 8th largest globally. The Project also holds multiple other spodumene pegmatite clusters and prospective trend areas that are yet to be assessed.
