‘Massive water main break’ reported in Wright County community

The city of Clarion in north central Iowa says there’s been a “massive water main break” and crews are on site making repairs on Sunday.Shortly before 4 p.m., the city of Clarion posted on its official Facebook page that the city is aware of a “water issue,” but did not specify what the issue is. Around the same time, the Wright County Monitor newspaper posted that crews were fixing a “pipe break.”At about 4:30 p.m., the city of Clarion gave an update, confirming the water main break and issuing a boil advisory until further notice.The Pizza Ranch in Clarion shared on its page that the restaurant is closed due to the citywide water outage.KCCI is working to find out more.
