Kendra Scott Debuts Lab-Grown Diamond Fashion Jewelry

Austin, Texas—Kendra Scott, the popular, affordable bridge jewelry brand whose price points start at under $50, has introduced a line of lab-grown diamond fashion jewelry.

The collection was designed at its headquarters in Austin, Texas, with everyday styles in mind, like stud earrings and pendant necklaces.

Kendra Scott has offered lab-grown diamonds before via its first engagement ring collection, launched in May 2022, but had not yet extended use of the stones to non-bridal jewelry.

“We’re excited to introduce our Lab Grown Collection, a natural category addition as we continue to progress as a lifestyle brand and offer our customers another dynamic reason to shop with us,” said founder, Executive Chairwoman, and Chief Creative Officer Kendra Scott.

“With lab-grown diamond fine jewelry, our customers have the option to invest in forever pieces at more accessible price points.”

Its customers were expressing interest in “accessible” fine jewelry options,  the company said, and so it began looking into how to create this collection with affordable price points.

“Fine jewelry is as much a staple for your everyday as it is for life milestones, and we wanted to offer our customers who may be more accustomed to shopping with us at a lower price point an opportunity to expand their Kendra Scott collection,” said Scott.

The lab-grown diamonds in the collection are at least H color and VS clarity, with all diamonds weighing half a carat or more graded by the International Gemological Institute.

The company declined to disclose the source of its lab-grown diamonds.

The collection features 19 styles with prices ranging from $500 to $2,950.

It’s available for purchase online and in 50 select Kendra Scott locations.

The announcement comes as the company is on track to have its best year ever, it said, recently reaching revenue of around $500 million.

The company’s growth, it said, has been driven by its expanded product offerings, “community-centric” vibe, and accessible price points.

The brand said it’s also found success appealing to multiple generations, from millennials to Gen Z—it’s a favorite among college students on “RushTok”—to Gen Alpha.

Kendra Scott also plans to expand its retail footprint, expecting to open 62 stores in the next three years, bringing its store count from 138 to 200.
