Investigation Launched into NuScale Power Corp. by Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C.

Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C., a nationally recognized stockholder rights law firm, has initiated an investigation into NuScale Power Corp. on behalf of NuScale stockholders. The investigation aims to determine whether NuScale has violated federal securities laws or engaged in other unlawful business practices.

The investigation comes after Hunterbrook Media reported on July 29, 2024, that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement is actively investigating NuScale. The report cited the SEC’s response to an open records request obtained by Hunterbrook. While the SEC’s response did not provide specific details about the investigation’s subject, Hunterbrook’s report highlighted that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission had raised significant questions about NuScale’s risk mitigation plans for one of its reactor designs. Additionally, the report asserted that NuScale has yet to commercialize any reactors despite over a decade of research and development.

Following this news, NuScale’s stock price experienced a decline of $1.35 per share or 12.44%, closing at $9.50 per share on July 29, 2024.
