Gyeonggi announced Tuesday that it is hosting the Gyeonggi Job Fair with semiconductor, battery and bio companies, opening separate booths offering job consultations for international students.
The job fair will be held at the Suwon Convention Center in Yeongtong District, Suwon, on May 28.
A total of 105 companies in the semiconductor, secondary battery and bio fields will be attending the job fair. Gyeonggi expects around 5,000 job seekers to visit.
Although the job fair is not exclusively for foreign nationals, the province will be operating an international student booth that offers job consultations for foreigners.
The job fair’s Matching Concierge section will run four different booths — one each for young job seekers, middle-aged job seekers, those who wish to work abroad and international students — and connect visitors to job opportunities based on the résumés they bring.
Job seekers can sign up for job consultations and interviews via the i-ONE JOB website.
“We hope to offer opportunities for companies in the province to hire talented individuals through the job fair, while also offering better career opportunities for job seekers,” said Yoon Deok-ryong, head of the Gyeonggido Job Foundation.
