ESPN make major Jim Harbaugh mistake on live TV during Baltimore Ravens game as

ESPN had a forgettable moment during their broadcast of the Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers Week 18 contest.

During the broadcast on Saturday, ESPN sent social media into an outcry after mistakenly labeling the Ravens‘ notable head coach, John Harbaugh, with his star brother, Jim.

The blunder occurred after halftime, with the game tied at 7-7.

ESPN sideline reporter Laura Rutledge was interviewing the Ravens coach when viewers realized that the network had the wrong name listed on the screen.

The graphic read “Jim Harbaugh” instead of John— who has coached the Ravens since 2008 and won a Super Bowl.

His brother, Jim, used to coach in the NFL for the San Fransico 49ers.

But since Jim has coached in college at the University of Michigan, his program is preparing to play in the national championship on Monday after defeating Alabama in the College Football playoffs.

NFL fans were quick to point out the mistake and flooded social media with reactions, with many calling out the longtime sports network.

This fan stated: “I remember when ESPN was the gold standard. Now, any warm body will do.”

Another: “ESPN is not what it used to be!”

A third joked: “Two big games in three nights is a grueling schedule for any coach.”

And a fourth: “They can take that graphic down as fast as they want, but @espn definitely just said, “Ravens coach Jim Harbaugh.”

That wasn’t the only complaint fans had during the Ravens-Steelers game, as many complained about the weather conditions, creating a “blurry” broadcast for fans watching TV.

The weather during the game was brutal in Baltimore. Conditions in the M&T Stadium consisted of rain temperatures in the 30s.

The Steelers defeated the Ravens 17-10 on Saturday despite the harsh weather.

They controlled much of the game as Baltimore elected to rest several key starters as they had already secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs.
