Twins indicted in identity, mail theft cases have bonds revoked after state

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A pair of twins who are both accused in a rash of identity and mail theft cases will remain behind bars after their bonds were revoked this week.

Court records show that twin brothers Taylor and Tyler Bell, 21, were indicted in March after being charged by Bartlett police in June 2023.

They are collectively accused of more than a dozen counts per charge.

Taylor was also indicted for a separate identity theft and forgery case in Germantown.

The state argued to revoke their bonds because they allegedly committed an armed robbery together in Memphis while out on bond in June of this year.

A Shelby County judge ruled in favor of the state, and both brothers’ bonds were revoked.
