TBI issues Silver Alert for missing 78-year-old out of Van Buren County, TN

VAN BUREN COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) posted a Silver Alert Saturday afternoon on behalf of the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department for a missing man with a medical condition.

According to officials, 78-year-old Richard Jordan was last seen on Friday, June 14, wearing gray shorts and an orange polo shirt with blue stripes. The TBI described him as 6-feet tall and 195 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes.

Authorities said Jordan may be traveling with his dog in a 2017 silver Chevrolet Impala with Tennessee tag 0NPQ79.

The TBI said Jordan’s medical condition may impair his ability to return safely without help.
