Sediment Management: Uttam to study, recommend for sediment management |


Hyderabad: The ministry of jal shakti has constituted a cabinet sub-committee headed by Telangana irrigation minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy to study and recommend modalities and guidelines for a national sediment management framework.
Agriculture minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao and excise minister Jupally Krishna Rao are also part of the committee. The committee will conduct a study and submit a report to the govt.The committee will have its first meeting and start working on Thursday, officials said.

The committee chaired by Mauvin Godinho will review the bill, including MLAs Ferreira, Sardesai, Cabral, Gaonkar, and Lourenco.
