Ljubljana stock indices close in red


May 22 (SeeNews) – The two stock indices on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) closed in negative territory on Wednesday, with energy group Petrol [LJE:PETG] pacing the blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.

Petrol’s shares ended the session at 28.0 euro, down 2.44%, in a turnover of 478,054 euro, LJSE data showed.

Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG] led the blue-chip gainers on Wednesday. Its share price grew 0.70% to 71.50 euro.

The blue-chip SBITOP index ended at 1,483.57 points, down 0.95%. The SBITOP TR index, which also tracks dividend distribution, also dropped 0.95%, to 2,007.63 points.

Pharmaceuticals group Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest single turnover on the stock exchange, of 1.0 million euro. Krka lost 0.79% and closed at 125.50 euro.

Total daily regulated market turnover went down to 3.0 million euro ($3.2 million) on Wednesday from 5.1 million euro on Tuesday.
