Joshua Gold Resources Inc. Explores Tecumseh Property in Northern Ontario

Joshua Gold Resources Inc. (OTC Pink: JSHG) has recently conducted a re-introductory sampling program at its Tecumseh Property in Davis Township, northern Ontario. The program involved the collection of 34 rock and soil samples over a period of three days in July 2024. These samples have been sent for laboratory analysis, and the company is eagerly awaiting the results.

The pending sample results, along with the compilation of historic exploration records, will play a crucial role in guiding JSHG’s exploration strategy at the Tecumseh property. The analysis of the most recent samples has the potential to uncover exciting new opportunities for the company and lay the foundation for future trenching and drilling programs at the site.

The Tecumseh property, spanning approximately 217 acres, has been a part of JSHG’s portfolio for a long time. Located about 26 miles east-northeast of Sudbury, Ontario, the site has attracted the interest of various operators since the 1920s. However, its mineral potential has remained largely untapped due to the limitations of exploration methods used in the past.

With the availability of cutting-edge analytical techniques and modern exploration methods, JSHG is enthusiastic about unlocking the full potential of this historically promising site. The company aims to leverage the results of the recent sampling program to uncover valuable mineral resources and pave the way for future success.

The compilation of previously reported surface quartz vein grab samples from 2011 to 2020 at the Tecumseh property has shown promising results. The average gold content of these samples was 14.1 grams per tonne (g/t) or 0.41 ounces per tonne (oz/t), with over half of the samples returning greater than 1 g/t Au. Some samples even exhibited high-grade gold values, with a maximum value of 209 g/t Au.

Matt Rees, the Chief Geologist at JSHG, expressed his optimism about the project, stating that the high-grade gold values observed so far indicate a fertile mineralizing system. He emphasized the importance of further exploration to determine the optimal focus of the system and maximize the potential of the Tecumseh property.

Ben Fuschino, the President and CEO of JSHG, shared his confidence in the team and the property, highlighting the numerous high-grade gold veins present at the site. He expressed excitement about the future of the exploration program and the potential it holds for Joshua Gold Resources Inc.
