If your birthday falls between these days, the government will pay you $1,850

Find out if the new Social Security payment is for you

Knowing the United States Social Security payment schedule is essential to have the best economic organization in case we are retirees. If we are not retired, it is a good idea to also look at how the SSA organizes its payments so that in the future we will have more information about it.

One of the elements that determines when we will get our monthly Social Security payment is the day of our birthday. A retiree collects earlier or later depending on the day of birth. However, neither the year nor the month of birth matters, only the day as such.

Also, the year of retirement does matter, as the Social Security Administration divides retirees into two major groups based on the year of retirement. In this regard, 1997 is key to being able to belong to one group or a different one.

How do I get my next Social Security payment?

The check will appear in the accounts of thousands of United States beneficiaries on June 18th, 2024. On this day, those eligible retirees with Direct Deposit activated can get the payment without any problems. If we do not have this collection method activated, the payment will arrive in the following days, but we will have it anyway.

In order to get this payment, your birthday must be between the 11th and 20th of any month. Likewise, there is another mandatory requirement, which is to have the benefit from May 1997 onwards. Thanks to meeting these two requirements we will have the 18th day payment available. Therefore, the type of payment does not matter in order to get this check, so it does not matter if it is for Disability, Widowhood or for any other reason.

As for the amount, the maximum age retirement payment is $4,873 in this year 2024, but this payment is not for all retirees. The Social Security Administration pays retirees always an individual payment. So whatever your payment was in the previous months of 2024 will be in this June.
