A boil water advisory has been issued for portions of New Orleans Westbank including the entire lower coast of Algiers. SWBNO says the water pressure in the area fell below 20 psi due to a hydrant repair. The repair has been completed and water pressure has been restored. Residents in the affected area are being advised to use bottled water or boiled tap water to drink, cook, clean food or brush teeth until further notice.SWBNO will notify residents when the boil water advisory is canceled.
