Atmos Energy is working to repair a gas leak in West Jackson.According to the vice president of Atmos, Bobby Morgan, the gas leak was discovered Thursday night on Earle Street after a construction crew doing work unrelated to the energy company damaged a natural gas pipeline.Morgan said a precautionary evacuation in the area has been lifted, and Atmos Energy’s highly trained technicians are on scene making the necessary repairs. Morgan said residents may experience traffic delays and should seek an alternate route.
