SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Residents reported numerous power outages in the Siouxland area, due to the recent weather conditions.
Mid-American Energy earlier reported less than a hundred without power. However, the outages have been resolved in the Siouxland area. There are still power outages in Sioux County and O’Brien County as of 3:45 p.m.
The Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives earlier reported less than 30 power outages in Plymouth County. However, the reported power outages, in Plymouth County have now been resolved.
Residents in Northeast Nebraska have reported power outages.
A large number of power outages have occurred in Dixon County and Dakota County, according to the Northeast Power Company website. By 3:45 p.m. a majority have been resolved.
Power outages have also occurred in Wayne County and Pierce County.
Ponca Public Schools experienced a power outage but stuck to their normal dismissal time.
