10 most expensive homes sold in the Portland metro area, Oct. 14-20


A house in Lake Oswego that sold for $3.8 million tops the list of the most expensive residential real estate sales in Portland metro area in the past week.

In total, 513 residential real estate sales were recorded in the area during the past week, with an average price of $595,917. The average price per square foot ended up at $323.

The prices in the list below concern real estate sales where the title was recorded during the week of Oct. 14 even if the property may have been sold earlier.

10. $1.5 million, single-family residence at 20380 S. South End Road

A sale has been finalized for the single-family home at 20380 S. South End Road in Oregon City. The price was $1,495,000 and the new owners took over the house in October. The house was built in 2004 and the living area totals 3,775 square feet. The price per square foot ended up at $396. The deal was finalized on Oct. 11.

9. $1.6 million, single-family home at 1613 S.E. 84th Court

The 2,381 square-foot single-family house at 1613 S.E. 84th Court, Vancouver, has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in October and the total purchase price was $1,580,000, $664 per square foot. The house was built in 1977. The deal was finalized on Oct. 10.

8. $1.7 million, single-family house at 843 S. Palatine Hill Road

The property at 843 S. Palatine Hill Road in Portland has new owners. The price was $1,672,500. The house was built in 1989 and has a living area of 3,975 square feet. The price per square foot is $421. The deal was finalized on Oct. 9.

7. $1.8 million, single-family house at 20401 S. Atwood Lane

The sale of the detached house at 20401 S. Atwood Lane, Oregon City, has been finalized. The price was $1,827,500, and the new owners took over the house in October. The property at 17288 Cedar Road in Lake Oswego has new owners. The price was $2,287,500. The house was built in 1988 and has a living area of 4,267 square feet. The price per square foot is $536. The deal was finalized on Oct. 8.

The 3,328 square-foot detached house at 6323 S.W. Delker Road, Tualatin, has been sold. The transfer of ownership was settled in October and the total purchase price was $2,325,000, $699 per square foot. The house was built in 1984. The deal was finalized on Oct. 11.
