Stock futures are slipping Friday, with the major indexes retreating from record-high levels hit on Wednesday and the Dow Jones Industrial Average’s milestone breach of the 40,000 point level on an intraday basis on Thursday.

These stocks were set to make moves Friday:

Reddit

stock was surging 16% in premarket trading after the social-media company struck a deal to license its content to artificial-intelligence start-up OpenAI.

GameStop

gained 6.9%, while

AMC Entertainment

rose 4.7% after shares of the videogame retailer and movie theater chain fell 30% and 15%, respectively, on Thursday—hinting at further meme-stock volatility.

DXC Technology

dropped 24% after the information-technology consulting firm saw fiscal fourth-quarter revenue decline 5.7% from a year ago and offered weak guidance.

Doximity

jumped 15% after the online platform for medical professionals topped revenue estimates for its fourth fiscal quarter. Its board of directors also authorized a program to repurchase up to $500 million of the company’s class A common stock.

Cracker Barrel

tumbled 12% after the restaurant chain reduced its quarterly dividend to 25 cents a share from $1.30, citing a strategic transformation plan.
