Vacuum Harvester Power II
The Vacuum Harvester Power II upgrade requires Blue Lens (x2), Steel Electronics (x2), and Battery (x2). You’ll first need to restore the Yellow Forest region to gain access to Blue Crystals, which requires the Vacuum Harvest Power I and Irrigation Hose Power I upgrades to clear. You’ll also need the Spike Saw Power II upgrade to be able to harvest the Blue Crystals.
How to Craft Blue Lenses
Once you have restored the Yellow Forest region, you’ll be able to mine the Blue Crystals that grow in the hills here. Mining Blue Crystals requires the Spike Saw Power II upgrade.
Once you have your Blue Crystals, put them into a Grinder to create Blue Crystal Dust. Then use the crystal dust and some Coal in a Furnace to create Blue Glass. Blue Lenses are then made in an Assembler using Blue Glass (x?) and Zappertwig Oil (x5).
Zappertwig Seeds are also found in Yellow Forest; you can harvest them with your base-level Vacuum Harvester. To make Zappertwig Oil, put fully grown Zappertwigs into an Oil Press.
Where to Find Coal
Coal can be found in each region, but you’ll have to restore those regions before you can harvest it (except for The Meadows, which does not require restoration). The easiest place to find Coal is in the caves around The Meadows. Exit your Mech, smack the Coal deposits with your Pickaxe, then use the Pickaxe to carry the Coal back to your Mech.
How to Craft Steel Electronics
Steel Electronics are made in an Assembler using Steel Bar (x1), Copper Wire (x2), and Zappertwigs (x2). This recipe creates one set of Steel Electronics. Steel Bars are smelted in a Furnace by using Iron Bar (x1) and Coal (x2).
How to Craft a Battery
Batteries are made in an Assembler using Copper Ore (x2) and Zappertwigs (x3). This recipe crafts one Battery. Zappertwig seeds are found in Yellow Forest and can be harvested with the base-level Vacuum Harvester.
